Sandra joined KAP Project Services in 2011 as Business Development Manager to help grow the company by focusing on brand awareness, establishing new business and coordinating public relations efforts. She has 20 years of sales and business development experience, primarily in the petrochemical industry.Sandra is an active member the Association of Chemical Industry of Texas, serving on the activities committees in the Houston Ship Channel, Mid Coast and South Texas Regions.  She also serves on the Board of Directors and Chairs the Membership Committee for the Associated Builders and Contractors Texas Coastal Bend Chapter.

After spending 16 years at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in management of information systems, Daniel moved on to the human resources and recruiting field. He has been recruiting in different types of industries for the past 15 years and his placements have included industrial sales, engineering and management personnel. Over the last 10 years he has specialized in the placement of project controls personnel in the petrochemical industry. Daniel joined KAP in 2006 and has significantly contributed to the quality of our services by finding exceptional candidates for our clients.

With over 20 years of experience in the oil, gas and petrochemical industries Sid has an extensive background in construction, maintenance and turnaround execution. His early career in construction and execution gave him the foundation and experience to make a seamless transition into the project controls arena.Over the past 10 years Sid has found success as an Estimator, Planner/Scheduler, Project Controls Manager and now Operations Manager at KAP. Sid joined KAP Project Services in February 2006 and, among his many duties, he has guided the continual development and implementation of our industry leading project controls software solutions.

Tammy has been a part of KAP Project Services from its beginning. As office manager, her responsibilities include payroll, human resources, benefits administration and accounts payable. Prior to joining KAP, Tammy worked for Skyview Staffing Services for 5 years in sales and as the executive administrative assistant to the President. She also worked for Brand Industrial Services for 15 years as the billing specialist. In her 20 plus years in the petrochemical industry she has accumulated a wealth of knowledge, making her an invaluable asset to KAP Project Services.

Scott is the founder and President of KAP Project services. Scott graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Construction Science in 1989 and embarked on a career focused on project controls and project management. Working for companies like Fluor Daniel and Jacobs Engineering, he honed his project engineering, scheduling and cost control skills during the execution of large EPC projects before entering the turnaround world in 2001. While serving as a project controls consultant on major turnarounds he developed several planning and cost control software solutions. In 2004 he cofounded Innovative Turnaround Controls (ITC). In 2005 he left ITC and joined with some of the industry’s leading project controls professionals to establish KAP Project Services.

Luke is a native of Houston TX, growing up among the oil and gas industry where his parents worked and his father still does. He began his business and technology studies at Texas Tech University, finishing up after transferring to the University of Houston with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Management Information Systems. Luke previously worked in the Management Training program for Pool Corporation before leaving to join KAP in 2006. In 2010 he completed his postgraduate work, receiving a Master of Science in Information Systems from the University of Houston.

Ruben joined KAP in early 2006. Ruben has nearly 20 years of turnaround, maintenance and capital projects experience in the oil, gas and petrochemical industries – 13 years of which have been focused on project controls. He wears many hats in the organization which include managing multiple contracts, developing proposals and supporting job sites (employees and clients). One of his primary responsibilities is employee screening, placement and support. Ruben’s extensive experience with numerous project controls and project management software systems allows him to quickly and effectively assess a potential employee’s skill set and aptitude. He works closely with our clients to ensure our candidates are the right fit for the position requested, and continually monitors their satisfaction with our personnel.  Ruben has a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology from Texas A&M Kingsville.

Steve has been with KAP from its inception and has been an integral part of KAP’s push to be the best project controls solution provider in the industry. With over 30 years in the oil, gas and petrochemical industries, Steve brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in project controls and project management. Steve has regularly stepped up to manage the efforts of many of our largest and most challenging projects including plant wide turnarounds and client consulting roles. As a recognized planning and scheduling subject matter expert he has been instrumental in developing our best practices and procedures.

Terry joined KAP Project Services as an enterprise architect in 2008. He is a Microsoft Certified Professional in SQL Server and is active in the Gulf Coast chapter of the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering. While working for NASA he developed software for the International Space Station and designed and built test equipment for the Space Shuttle Simulators. Terry has created numerous project controls and project management tools that are in use in organizations throughout the petrochemical industry. His varied background in electronics, computer systems and application development has helped ensure that KAP’s tools are unsurpassed in their functionality and usability. Terry’s career in systems development began while serving in the U.S. Air Force as an Information Systems Specialist.
