Scott is the founder of KAP Project services. He graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Construction Science in 1989 and embarked on a career focused on project controls and project management. Working for companies like Fluor Daniel and Jacobs Engineering, he honed his project engineering, scheduling and cost control skills during the execution of large EPC projects before entering the turnaround world in 2001. While serving as a project controls consultant on major turnarounds he developed several planning and cost control software solutions. In 2005 he joined with some of the industry's leading project controls professionals to establish KAP Project Services.

Steve has been with KAP from its inception and has been an integral part of KAP’s push to be the best project controls solution provider in the industry. With over 30 years in the oil, gas and petrochemical industries, Steve brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in project controls and project management. Steve has regularly stepped up to manage the efforts of many of our largest and most challenging projects including plant wide turnarounds and client consulting roles. As a recognized planning and scheduling subject matter expert he has been instrumental in developing our best practices and procedures.
- Sid DickersonOperations Manager
With over 20 years of experience in the oil, gas and petrochemical industries Sid has an extensive background in construction, maintenance and turnaround execution. His early career in construction and execution gave him the foundation and experience to make a seamless transition into the project controls arena.Over the past 10 years Sid has found success as an Estimator, Planner/Scheduler, Project Controls Manager and now Operations Manager at KAP. Sid joined KAP Project Services in February 2006 and, among his many duties, he has guided the continual development and implementation of our industry leading project controls software solutions.
- Blake PowellBusiness Development - STOlogix and TACTEXS
Blake brings more than 25 years of experience in developing and managing high performance sales organizations to KAP Project Services where he leads the company’s business development and sales efforts for STOlogixs and Tactexs. Over the years, he has worked with many successful enterprise software and services companies both leading and developing professional sales teams. In his role at KAP, Blake has parlayed his substantive knowledge base from his years of sales in the technology sales industry and successfully applied it to help improve sales performance through the use of customer relationship management, sales process management and territory management principles. As Vice President of Sales and Marketing for two nationally recognized process controls organizations, he has many years of experience selling process, planning, and scheduling solutions into the utilities and petrochemical space. Blake’s formal education includes a BA in Journalism from Louisiana State University and has holds several formal sales management certifications.
- Daniel BellSenior Recruiter
After spending 16 years at NASAs Johnson Space Center in management of information systems, Daniel moved on to the human resources and recruiting field. He has been recruiting in different types of industries for the past 15 years and his placements have included industrial sales, engineering and management personnel. Over the last 10 years he has specialized in the placement of project controls personnel in the petrochemical industry. Daniel joined KAP in 2006 and has significantly contributed to the quality of our services by finding exceptional candidates for our clients.
- Tammy Hye-KnudsenOffice Manager
Tammy has been a part of KAP Project Services from its beginning. As office manager, her responsibilities include payroll, human resources, benefits administration and accounts payable. Prior to joining KAP, Tammy worked for Skyview Staffing Services for 5 years in sales and as the executive administrative assistant to the President.She also worked for Brand Industrial Services for 15 years as the billing specialist. In her 20 plus years in the petrochemical industry she has accumulated a wealth of knowledge, making her an invaluable asset to KAP Project Services.
- Orlando DelgadoAccount Manager
After graduating from Texas A&M Kingsville in 1997, with a BS in Industrial Technology Orlando began his career as a Field Engineer for an NDT company, Tes Tex, Inc. and quickly found that his strengths were in sales. In 2000 he started out as a sales estimator for Vulcraft – Division of Nucor Steel and by 2007 was a Regional Sales Manager for CMC Joist and Deck. He came to KAP Project Services in 2012 and brings 16 years of sales experience that includes successful cold calling percentage, strategic planning, new business development, and account management.
- Heather M. LaBureSenior Recruiter
University of Houston graduate with a degree in Pre-Law in 2011. After spending 3 years in recruiting and business development for Upstream E&P Oil & Gas Fortune 500 Companies, Heather moved into the Petrochemical Industry where she can specialize in the placement of project controls personnel. She has been responsible for full-cycle recruiting and has had success in placing a variety of different onshore and offshore Oil & Gas Geologist, Engineers, Landman and Management personnel. Heather is a results-driven professional who demonstrates the ability to provide our clients with the best talent. Heather has a keen eye for business and the ability to deliver and advance key business relationships with some of the world's largest companies.
- Patrick CoxHR , Benefits Manager
After serving 4 years in the US Marine Corps and 5 years in contract security, Patrick joined the corporate sector. He began his career with KAP in March 2014 as a recruiter. He has since moved into the role of Human Resources and Benefits Manager. Patrick’s goal for the HR department is to ensure a streamlined hiring process that allows for a more efficient and productive method for all employees and clients. He is a UHCL alum with a Bachelors of Science degree and a father of 3 little ladies. Patrick is here for any and all of the employees and clients of KAP Project Services HR and Benefits.
- Roger GeorgeAccount Manager
With over 20 years of experience in the oil, gas and petrochemical industries Roger has an extensive background in construction, maintenance and turnaround execution. His early career in fabrication, construction and execution gave him the foundation and experience to make the logical evolution into the project controls arena. Over the past 10 years Roger has found success as Business Development, Estimator, Planner/Scheduler, Project Controls Manager and Account Manager at KAP. Roger joined KAP Project Services again in August 2013 and, among his many duties, he is assisting in our continual growth and the implementation of our industry leading project controls software solutions.
- Terry WagnerSystems Developer
Terry joined KAP Project Services as an enterprise architect in 2008. He is a Microsoft Certified Professional in SQL Server and is active in the Gulf Coast chapter of the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering. While working for NASA he developed software for the International Space Station and designed and built test equipment for the Space Shuttle Simulators. Terry has created numerous project controls and project management tools that are in use in organizations throughout the petrochemical industry. His varied background in electronics, computer systems and application development has helped ensure that KAP's tools are unsurpassed in their functionality and usability. Terry's career in systems development began while serving in the U.S. Air Force as an Information Systems Specialist.
- Ruben PenaOperations Manager
Ruben joined KAP in early 2006. Ruben has nearly 20 years of turnaround, maintenance and capital projects experience in the oil, gas and petrochemical industries, 13 years of which have been focused on project controls. He wears many hats in the organization which include managing multiple contracts, developing proposals and supporting job sites (employees and clients). One of his primary responsibilities is employee screening, placement and support. Ruben's extensive experience with numerous project controls and project management software systems allows him to quickly and effectively assess a potential employee's skill set and aptitude. He works closely with our clients to ensure our candidates are the right fit for the position requested, and continually monitors their satisfaction with our personnel. Ruben has a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology from Texas A&M; Kingsville.
- Rob MoralesContracts Manager
Rob joined the KAP Team in 2016 after retiring from The Dow Chemical Company with over 26 years of service.
Rob began his career with Union Carbide in 1988. He served in various capacities in Operations including Day Production Specialist and SAP Coach before Carbide merged with The Dow Chemical Company in 2001. After the Union Carbide/Dow merger, Rob remained in Operations filling the role of Operations Discipline Manager and Technical Advisor.
In 2002, Rob was named Operations Coach supporting the Texas City site until 2005 when he transitioned to Maintenance, as the Coach for the Texas City Site.
In 2009, after Dow acquired Rohm & Haas, Rob was named Contract Administrator for Houston Area Operations with responsibilities for Electrical, Instrument, Analyzer, and Engineering disciplines as well as Special Project Lead for five sites.
